According to the NIH (National Institute of Health) there is a great deal of evidence that demonstrates that a decline in the body's own cellular NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a feature of aging and may play a role in the aging process. As a coenzyme present in all cells, NAD+ plays a critical role in metabolic functions, aging, and overall cell health. Treatments that increase NAD+ may slow aspects of the aging process. NAD+ injections are becoming increasingly recognized for their compelling health benefits that may include boosting energy, slowing down the aging process, boosting metabolism, improving brain power, enhanced cellular function and improving overall well-being.
What to Expect Book Appointment
Before your first NAD+ injection you will have a telemedicine visit with our physician at Guardian Medical to review your overall health condition and to give you the opportunity to ask the doctor any questions you may have about the treatment. After receiving clearance our registered nurse will disinfect the injection site and administer the injection. You may feel some slight pain or redness at the injection site that should subside in a few hours. The nurse will monitor you for any adverse reactions. Most individuals tolerate NAD injections well, but some may experience temporary discomfort, such as nausea, headache or slight fatigue 30-60 minutes after the injection.
